Journey of Renewal and Resilience

The Journey of Renewal and Resilience is an in-depth, two-day process that allows participants to take a break from their intense daily routines, step outside their familiar surroundings, and—from that vantage point—reflect on the path they’ve traveled, process their experiences, and emerge with the strength and tools they need to continue on their journey.

A two-day immersive journey to take a break from the daily routine and recharge

The journey is based on a unique combination of team-building, deep emotional processing, mind-body work, experiential activities, and moments of respite and relaxation.

We believe that resilience is built through connection—which is why a central part of the process is creating a safe and supportive group that allows participants to open up, share, feel a sense of belonging, and realize that they are not alone in their struggles.

Using experiential methods and tools drawn from the field of resilience, participants undergo a meaningful process that enables them to connect with themselves, with others, and with their sources of strength. For many, this is a paradigm-shifting journey that marks a turning point—both personally and for the group.

An off-site program for teams and medium-sized groups

The journey is suitable for professional teams, organizations, communities, and groups of people going through a period of stress, change, or ongoing challenges. It is suitable both for established teams that arrive together and for groups formed of participants who arrive independently.

Lodging and residential facilities throughout the country

The journey takes place in pastoral surroundings that allow for a complete break from daily life and full immersion in the process. Mashiv HaRuach’s primary venue is Mashiv HaRuach House in Metzokei Dragot—a unique setting that combines a desert landscape, tranquility, group connection, and a process of deep reflection. Depending on the organization’s needs, the journey can also be held at other locations throughout the country.

Testimonials

The people who have been on this journey with us

Thank you for listening, for the pampering, for the professional guidance, and for your heartfelt desire to take such good care of us. It was uplifting, moving and empowering. I feel like I came home changed. Something in me has settled and grown stronger.

Partner of a reservist

Each person is a whole world, and I found something to connect with in every one of the participants. I came away feeling that we're much stronger than we think.

Therapist from a Resilience Center

I’m well aware of the power of conversation circles, but I found it difficult to incorporate them into the school. I’m leaving here with a clear resolution: The workshops I’ll lead through the end of the year will focus on conversation, listening, and connection.

School Counselor in the Gaza Envelope

I realized I needed to have the courage to ask for help. To keep being there for others—but not to forget to be there for myself, too.

A dentist from Mahane Shura

The facilitator was truly there for us—she listened, didn’t try to tell us how we were supposed to feel, and created a space where we could just be. I left feeling calmer, happier, and more at peace with myself.

Partner of Someone Coping with Post-Traumatic Stress

I rediscovered just how much strength there is in a group. My friends helped me see the good in myself, we got to know each other deeply—and we left here as a closer-knit and stronger team.

Emergency Room (ER) Physician at Soroka

Time seemed to stand still for a moment. I managed to rediscover my center—the place I need to return to and lead from.

School Principal in the North

You didn’t just help the 30 people who attended the workshop. We’re returning from here to the 3,000 people whom we, as community managers, are responsible for and support.

Community Manager, a kibbutz in the north

It's hard to put the experience into words. I can tell you that when I got home, for the first time in a very long time, I physically felt like I could breathe. I was able to breathe the way I hadn't in a long time. Thank you so much!

ZAKA Volunteer

A wonderful and essential concept. It conveyed a sense of deep thought and attention to detail in both planning and execution. There was absolute attentiveness and great professionalism throughout the sessions, and that allowed me to rediscover my center.

S.
Wife of a Reservist

The workshop gave me a sense of calm and allowed me to create some breathing room for myself during this time. I learned to get to know myself better and to understand how to cope with stressful situations.
